Kody and Jason from Hank's Heating and Cooling in Petoskey (part of the Family Plumbing and Heating group) installed central air today and were fantastic. They worked efficiently, took care of every detail, and did an exceptional installation. Then Scott came to inspect the work and system, and he was fantastic, too. I've been using Hank's for years and wasn't sure what a difference it would make to have that well-respected local company be part of the Family group, which takes in a much larger geographic area. But, have no fear, the quality is the same. Highly recommend!

I needed my water heater replaced. Nevin did the job. He was outstanding. The women who answered the phone were also very great at communicating and helpful. Family Plumbing and Heating company is very good and reliable. I recommend them.

Got new furnace and air conditioner from Jim told me the day that they would be here they were here Billy showed up to put on a new air conditioner and furnace did a tremendous job would highly recommend him anytime to anyone Scott came the technician to start all the units told us how to run everything and how to work the new thermostat they were always all very helpful staff at the office was very polite too thank all of you is very much for the job well done

Initially we had Hank’s come out to access our water heater. Our tech gave us options and we decided to replace. The process was very efficient and while they were here on the install they checked our furnaces (we have 3). Two were over 20 years old and one was right about 20. We decided to go ahead and replace all 3 and an air conditioner. The installation took several days because of not only the number of units, but one had to be plumbed a different way. During the installation, Nevin and team were very professional and tidy. Hank’s called this week to test the air conditioner - installation of the systems was in December 2023. Everything has gone smoothly, the techs were professional and friendly and we are loving all our new systems. I would highly recommend Family Plumbing and Heating.

I had a great experience with Family plumbing and heating. I purchased a new home with an old boiler system with a air handler in Indian River, Michigan. I was very confused and had them give me different options. Such as a new boiler, different brands etc. and switching over to a furnace and a heatpumps. My job was a large job to switch everything over. We went with 2- 80,000 btu furnaces and 2 heat pumps for dual system since we are on propane and the house is 4,300 sf. and a new 50 gallon hot water tank. Jim was very patient with all my questions. Ian was the main installer. Scott was the service manager that stopped by to check on things. Nevin came and finalized the Job with Jim. Everyone was so professional and communicated very well. I felt very comfortable with them and would recommend them for anyone looking for a hvac system. There was a few other workers but I forgot their names. But even one was great.
